Mr. Bruno Smets is Senior Officer within the Belgian-MOD-Senior Counselor. He has a career of progressive and diversified responsibility (including 15 different positions & various locations) in the national and international public sector, including field experience. The 38 years of service within the Belgian Defence can be divided into three well distinct parts; 8 years for (post) graduate education (Bac +8), 17 years as leader in operational management (including 3 long-running peacekeeping operations) and 13 years in the field of defence diplomacy (DD) and Public Relations.
